Gerry Anderson: A Life Uncharted is a groundbreaking documentary co-produced by The Format Factory and Anderson Entertainment.
Gerry Anderson’s career spanned 60 years over which he created and produced some of the world’s most beloved children’s television series including Thunderbirds, Stingray, Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, Space: 1999, Terrahawks, Space Precinct and many more – some with his second wife, Sylvia.
Released a decade after his death this incredibly revealing, emotionally charged and deeply personal documentary is a fitting tribute to the television and film pioneer Gerry Anderson.
Gerry Anderson: A Life Uncharted uses a wealth of intimate audio archive combined with cutting-edge AI deepfake technology to allow Gerry to tell his own story on screen for the first time.
With exclusive access to previously unpublished interviews alongside new contributions from friends, family and colleagues, this emotionally charged and deeply personal documentary shares the untold stories that defined his life and body of work.
From a poverty-stricken childhood raised by a Jewish father and an antisemitic mother, through a lifetime of personal struggles, this documentary maps Gerry's previously uncharted journey to puppetry pioneer, science fiction master and legendary creator.

Reasonable but expensive
Brilliant. Everything I thought and expected from this blu ray disc.
The product was fine. A good illustration of what creators may suffer for their art. A real life always exist behind the facade of work. From my view a sad tale that makes me feel lucky on even more levels than the boy that soaked up these classic puppet fantasies.
Your creations have been a major part of my life and it's fantastic, I love all you have created
Yes very good entertainment brilliantly done just what I was expecting and more yes for people like me who grew up with all the Gerry Anderson. Range off TV every week and the comics toys. All I can say is very well done and I don't think we will ever see the likes of again. Weather it's puppets or real people playing the roll's for the adventure to the future
