United KingdomI hadn't heard of this film and I assumed that if it had been great I would have. So I wasn't expecteding much. It was interesting but it was very determined to teach the audience the basics about black holes. I was happy with what I received. No complaints. I would watch anyting connected to Gerry Anderson.
United StatesI'm not going to retread other reviews. If you're getting this, you should be familiar with the storyline, actors and quality of Gerry Anderson productions in the 1970s. I do want to point out that because the video is 25p and not 24p or 30p, it may not playback on some/many North American Blu-ray players. We have 2 Sony players and neither will play the video content. It will only show the menus. It works fine on our Xbox Series X. Please research before purchasing if you're in North America.
JapanI enjoyed the Collector's Edition--fun movie, too bad it didn't become a series. It would have made a nice one. I liked the extras that came with it (often I just glance or sample extras, but this time I found myself checking all of the extras out). Good service.
United KingdomThis is a beautiful release of an excellent and pioneering Sci-Fi vision. Teaching children Einstein's theories and exploring the consequences and questions steming from those ideas through a cosmic, space-time adventure utilising the exquisite models, miniatures, sets, costumes and dialogue from Gerry Anderson Productions we all hold dear. It's a very small step from this to Christopher Nolan's Interstellar. Somewhere, somewhen, in another iteration of the Universe, this was picked up and went to full series. OUTSTANDING
