Okay but could have been better

As per the title, it was okay but could have been better. I have seen much better reprints of TV21 comic strips and many of the strips in this book are dark and the colours are not as sharp as they could be. The attempt to add a new comic strip adventure doesn't really work for me as the artwork is nowhere near as good as that of the TV21 strips, especially the portrayal of the characters' faces. Better not to mix old and new like this. If you want to produce new comic strips then do so but sell them as a separate book. Lastly, the book came in what I presume is a presentation box with the Anderson store logo on it. This had collapsed inside around the bottom of the book as the book had presumably moved in transit. At least the box stopped the book from getting damaged. So all in all, okay but could have been better

    Stingray Comic Anthology

Terrific collection of TV Century 21 "Stingray" comics. It would have been better without the newer "Deadly Uprising" strips, though, as they're of much lower quality.

Stingray Comic Anthology Vol 1 doesn't disappoint

Another fantastic compendium of comic strips from TV21 comic, but also a number of newly commissioned strips making an overarching story which dovetails with the Deadly Uprising novels. Whether you are of a certain age (as I am) and long ago lost all your TV21 comics, or if you're a younger fan who loves Gerry Anderson shows, you'll enjoy this very weighty tome with the resprint stories lovingly restored. When Volume 2 comes along I think I'm going to need a sturdier bookcase!
