The Eagle from Gerry Anderson's visionary Space: 1999 series is for many the greatest science fiction spacecraft ever conceived. Known for its elegant shape and mission versatility, the Eagle flew an impressive array of missions including reconnaissance, resource gathering and space exploration.
Following the release of the Eagle Transporter Collectible and the Rescue Eagle Collectible Anderson Entertainment is delighted to offer the high anticipated third release, the VIP Eagle Collectible. With the VIP pod of orange sides this unique Eagle adds to your growing collection.
This finely detailed die-cast scale collectible showcases the legendary VIP Eagle as depicted in Space: 1999 Breakaway of series one. Machined from Zamac metal and ABS plastic, hand-painted and finished with screen accurate decals, the model stands atop a fully sculpted scenic base – unique to this range. As well as the unique pod this collectible model features newly developed command module windows with incredible screen likeness, a meticulously crafted engine unit and module landing legs.
The Eagle is secured in foam housing within a deluxe white presentation box, which marks the model as part of our premium range. The soft-touch matt finish of the box interior provides a full craft schematic, craft specifications and detailed information on the craft. These features, combined with the limited production Certificate of Authenticity, make the Eagle Transporter a highly sought-after collectors' item for fans of the series and collectors of iconic science fiction memorabilia alike.

United KingdomHaving bought the previous two Eagle releases, I'm pleased to say that this offering is a step up: The packaging is still of the same, luxurious, high-quality and, although I'm not a massive fan of injection-moulded plastic, you can create some pretty intricate details with it so it serves a purpose. A die-cast model, however, will always be superior due to the inherent solidity and weight. In this sense alone, this model would be better than the previous two. I would still compare this series to the Eaglemoss offerings as opposed to the Product Enterprise/ Sixteen 12 releases. The latter, even the 'incorrect' version released by Product Enterprise, are superior with a better level of detail and detachable pods. They can also commonly be sourced from ebay at a similar price point. That said, I am pleased with my purchase and look forward to the next release with anticipation.

United StatesVery cool diecast as with the other editions released ..very nice presentation with the box and replica launch pad included..looking forward to the next one ..these compliment my sixteen12 edition eagles also..that are no longer being produced.
