Space 1999 moonbase alpha technical operations manual

An excellent product: when I was a child watching Space I was fascinated by Alpha and how everything worked. For me the base was an extra character on the show, and this manual would have made the child i was very happy, and it makes the adult me just as happy!

    Excellent volume.

I received this today, faster than I thought I would get it. The sections are well laid-out, and the technical illustrations are clear and easy to read. An excellent addition to my collection of TV series manuals, and Space: 1999 blu-rays and Eagle model.

    Very good, and mines unique!

I cant praise the book enough, its got everything I like the room layouts on the moonbase best I can imagine living there looking at all the detail. Mine was an error put in the hardback cover upside down, I was going to send it back but figured its more collectable as a one off :-)

    One GORGEOUS Book!

This is one gorgeous book. This is set up as an in-universe manual that provides an overview of everything a person coming from Earth would need to be comfortably oriented to live on the Alpha Moonbase. The layout, the accompanying text, the art and design of the book is spectacular and clearly a labor of love from everyone involved. This is an indispensable books for any and all fans of Space: 1999! My inner 12-13 year old fanboy is totally geeking out. This book is a gorgeous love letter to Space: 1999 fans all over the world. While it is vastly superior to the original Alpha Moonbase Technical Notebook, produced decades ago, it is still an homage and tribute to the work done for that edition. After finishing this book, I am enormously pleased with the purchase. I hope the publisher might consider doing similar “in-world” volumes for other Gerry Anderson productions, like UFO or Thunderbirds.
