United KingdomThunderbirds: Terror from the Stars is an amazingly brilliant story with an incredibly outstanding new voice cast, and International Rescue having to come face-to-face with a microscopic alien invasion is certainly something more out of Doctor Who than Thunderbirds.
United KingdomWhen I first heard that Anderson Entertainment and Big Finish were doing full-cast audio adaptations of the Thunderbirds novels, I was really excited, and this opening release was a great way to launch the new audio series. I remember reading John Theydon's original book years ago, so it was fun revisiting the story and hearing it performed with a full cast and sound effects. The new cast are really good and I also like the new music, which really gets the style of Barry Gray's original TV scores. On the whole, a thoroughly enjoyable start to this audio series. FAB!
United KingdomI just re-listened to this and it's so good. The story by John Theydon is great, and it's brought to life so brilliantly by the stellar cast. Add in the great narration and lovely sound effects - just sublime.
United StatesI was very impressed by this audio cd. The voice artists captured the flavour of the original characters. The story was exciting and kept you on the edge of your seat until the end. The cds themselves were very nicely packed and were of good quality. This audio cd set is GREAT!! I recommend it to all lovers of THE THUNDERBIRDS!!! By the way, I ordered the second audio set (Peril in Peru) as soon as I finished the first!! F.A.B.
