Thunderbird 2 is International Rescue’s heavy transport aircraft. Large, and with VTOL ability, this 6,000 mph craft is required to carry the rescue equipment to the danger zone in one of its six interchangeable container pods.
This model kit contains Pod 4 and its cargo Thunderbird 4. Piloted by Virgil Tracy, Thunderbird 2 featured in all but one of the original TV episodes.

Have only given this 4*, because I haven't built the model yet(weather too nice). Am so looking forward to building this iconic ship, but also apprehensive as it will be the first model I've made in nearly 50 years!(I'm 63). Had to wait for 'no.2' to come back on the shelves, but hope it will be worth the wait.
