Piloted by astronaut Alan Tracy and co-pilot TinTin Kyrano, Thunderbird 3 is a vertically launched, reusable, single stage rocket. Used for space rescue missions as well as maintenance and crew relief of the space station Thunderbird 5.
Powered by chemical rockets for lift off and boost, an ion drive is used for space propulsion and to accelerate Thunderbird 3 to a top speed of 25,000 mph.

United StatesI haven't started to build it yet but it's a nice size and details are sharp. Shipping is quick, it doesn't take long to get to the USA, and the prices are fair. I've checked out other places and compared. Anderson doesn't gouge and they could, being a exclusive specialty store. I'm old so I started with Supercar, Fireball XL5 is still my favorite one.
