The concert, presented by Anderson Entertainment was a new production featuring music from one of the most iconic TV catalogues of all time. Series such as Thunderbirds, Space: 1999, Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, and Stingray were all celebrated in a special one-off concert in Symphony Hall, Birmingham – a B:Music venue – on Saturday 13 July 2024.
Following the 2022 sell-out concert, Anderson Entertainment presented a brand-new production with Stand By For Action! 2 – Tunes of Danger. The show featured music from Anderson shows never-before performed by a full live orchestra, alongside many fan favourites from the worlds of Gerry Anderson. And as 2024 is the 60th Anniversary of Stingray, the show climaxed with a very special live full-cast performance, entitled Deadly Concerto.
Hosted by Jon Culshaw, this unique new concert celebrated the enduring legacy of Gerry Anderson’s creations, blending nostalgia with the thrill of live music for a night that will resonate with fans of all ages.
