A brand new audiobook of the previously unreleased Gerry Anderson feature 'Five Star Five'. Five Star Five was Gerry Anderson's answer to Star Wars and was on the cusp of entering production in 1978 when the financing for the feature collapsed. Now, for the first time, the world of Five Star Five has been brought to life by author Richard James and narrator Robbie Stevens in this novelisation of the original feature script by Gerry Anderson and Tony Barwick.
THE TIME: THE FUTURE
THE PLACE: THE UNIVERSE
The peaceful planet of Kestra is under threat. The evil Zargon forces are preparing to launch a devastating attack from an asteroid fortress. With the whole Kestran system in the Zargons' sights, Colonel Zana looks to one man to save them.
Except one man isn't enough.
Gathering a crack team around him including a talking chimpanzee, a marauding robot and a mystic monk, John Lovell must infiltrate the enemy base and save Kestra from the Zargons!

About the Author
Richard James's association with the worlds of Gerry Anderson began with playing Officer Orrin in Space Precinct. Since then, he has novelised the pilot episode of Space Precinct, Demeter City, and written four new adventures for the officers of Precinct 88, Space Precinct: Revisited. His memoir, Space Precinct Unmasked, details his time spent filming Gerry's last live-action series. He has also adapted a lost sit-com script from Gerry Anderson and Ronnie Cass, The Fat of the Land, as a play for the stage. Aside from his Anderson credentials, Richard has written a Victorian detective series following the fortunes of Detective Inspector Bowman of the Yard.

Nice relaxing voice. Nice that you can listen to the book. And if you have the book, also read with it.
haven't had a chance to listen to it yet but i think it would be good.
This is a fantastic release, with the music, sound effects and the voice of Robbie Stevens makes this a impressive and immersive experience. Cover art is stunning and feels grand like a movie poster. Even though this is not a full cast drama like other releases I was gripped from start to finish, and easy to follow with great writing from Richard James. Nobody should miss this, well worth it.
