United KingdomThis book brought back many memories and also things I had forgotten. Amazing detail painted a picture of wonderful times enjoying this program that was way beyond its time. Always good to see things from then that are around in some form now.
United StatesThis is the best reference guide for a series I've ever seen. The binding on the book is fabulous, allowing the book to open flat on your reading desk or coffee table. The pages are thick and high gloss, adorned with gorgeous illustrations alongside stills from the show. The guide itself is written from an in-universe POV, as if Moonbase Alpha were a real place, which makes it an even more enjoyable read, in my opinion. As an American customer, we have to pay a bit more for products from the Gerry Anderson shop, but I don't regret the purchase one iota. The book arrived quickly and in perfect condition, thanks to the professional packaging from the fine folks at gerryanderson.com. If you're hesitating on whether or not to pull the trigger on this, don't. If you don't pick it up now, you'll regret it when it is going for absurd prices on the secondary market in just a few years.
PolandI watched Space 1999 first on TV in 1970s. Polish TV let us watch one episode per month and it was like a red-letter day for sci-fi fans. I still like to watch this series from time to time. And as a loyal fan I appreciate the opportunity to look deeper into the Moonbase Alpha - which is really intriguing place. Many photos and diagrams, information about all sections of the base - a must for those, who love Space 1999!!
GermanyFantastic. When I got it, it was perfectly wrapped in a plastic bubble foil which was packed in a cardboard box, but some pages were severely damaged (binding machine cuts). The company guaranteed a replacement the same day I reported the incident and within a week I received the new copy, which I am enjoying now. Thank you guys!
