When discussing the puppeteers of the Anderson series, fans tend to discuss Christine Glanville, Mary Turner, or perhaps Wanda Webb. A slightly less well known figure is Joy Laurey, who built and performed puppets for Twizzle. A well known puppeteer at the time, Laurey was hired by AP Films and brought along Christine Glanville as her assistant. When Joy moved on, Christine would stay behind to continue to work on Torchy and beyond.
