Time Bomb Comics, in partnership with Anderson Entertainment, have returned with a second full colour, perfect bound, 44-page comic anthology featuring three new and original comic adventures set within the worlds created by Gerry Anderson: New Captain Scarlet, Space Precinct and Terrahwks!
The first Spectrum comic book was a success and was so positively received that we are delighted to present a second Spectrum publication. Working closely with Time Bomb Comics, Anderson Entertainment, has again created a Spectrum comic which is asecond unique anthology comic presenting new and original stories for fans of New Captain Scarlet, Space Precinct and Terrahawks.
New Captain Scarlet was a reboot of the original 1960s show broadcast in the 1990s. Using CGI as an evolution of the original Supermarionation puppetry, the show followed the titular Captain Scarlet in his battle against the invading Mysteron aliens.
The Spectrum 2 creative team on New Captain Scarlet is Steve Tanner (writer), Pete Woods (line artist), John Charles (colour artist) and James Gray (letters).
Terrahawks used an altered version of the Supermacromation style, refined with 1980s technology and incorporating latex hand-puppets. The series sees a ragtag group of humans defend Earth after the destruction of NASA.
The Spectrum 2 creative team on Terrahawks is Dan Whitehead(writer), Ste Pickford(pencils, inks) Gary Crutchley(inks), Owen Watts (colour artist) and James Gray (lettering).
Finally, the 1990s Space Precinct was a live action series that incorporated puppetry in creating realistic and sophisticated alien characters. A police procedural set in space, it was known for its groundbreaking special effects.
The Spectrum 2 creative team on Space Precinct is Richmond A Clements (writer) and James Gray (art and lettering).
The Spectrum 2 cover features spectacular artwork from Steve Pugh, known for his work at DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, 2000AD, and his brilliant cover for the first Spectrum book!

Great artwork and fun stories
Three lovely stories, with some beautiful artwork, featuring the adventures from some of the ( slightly) lesser lights in our Anderson Universe Doesn’t take too long to read , but definitely something I’ll be happy to return to again and again

Bought as a present and they love it and over the moon with it
